Coffee at Home Using a French Press

Many have asked me “what is the best coffee”, “where can I get the best coffee”, and more…for me, brewing coffee at home is the “best coffee” you can get. In this brief manual, I’m putting together some instructions on how to brew coffee at home using a french press. This is very easy and anybody can do it!

  1. Heat water close to boiling, probably around 200F degrees.
  2. Grind the coffee beans coarse and throw them in the French Press.
  3. Pour the hot water over the coarse grounded beans half way the French Press and wait for 1 minute.
  4. Pour the rest of the hot water in the pot and wait for 3 minutes.
  5. Stir the mixture of coffee and water.
  6. Get your favorite coffee mug from your kitchen and take a deep breath of appreciation.
  7. Add the lid. DO NOT press it yet!
  8. Slowly press the plunger to the middle of the French Press.
  9. Pour some coffee into your coffee mug.
  10. Smell the aroma and feel the coffee notes.
  11. Appreciate your life!
  12. Repeat the process starting on step 9. Cheers!
